Sonic coming to the DC & MD?

When I was younger, I always wanted to work at a Sonic.
I don't think I really ever liked their food but it was just something about how they rolled around in those skates that made me want to be a part of the Sonic team! lls!

Although they show so many commercials in the Maryland and DC areas, with the skates, smiles, food platters and all ... there is not one Sonic in the area! Well today I saw a "PSA" on twitter saying there was one finally coming! I dug around to see if I could find more about the rumor.

Apparently, there's one already open for business (10am-10pm) in Baltimore:

8212 Liberty Road
Baltimore, MD, 21244 -- at the intersection of  Rolling Road.

Last year there were a few discussions about more of them in the area but it looks like things have died down a bit.

So yeah... want Sonic real bad? Go to Bmore.
