ITS:MY:TIME --- :: V O T E :: 4 :: M E ::

United Colors of Benetton is having a global model casting campaign. They're allowing the chance for people all over the world to upload pictures and videos that speak to their uniqueness. The online community will vote for favorites and the top 100 will go create a "shortlist" from judges to choose from. Those chosen for the "shortlist" will be published in Benetton's new book and go on a 200 euro shopping spree. From the 100 finalists, judges will choose 20 to fly to New York for the campaign fashion shoot and they will be the faces of Benetton's 2010 Fall/Winter catalogue.

Here's what i ask of you:
Sign on to the Benetton online community by visiting IT'S MY TIME. Log in using your Facebook username and password. The site will send you a verification email. Once you've received the email, open it, and click the link. Go to my page: kayemjay6 (screenshot below) and waste all your votes on me!!  This could be an awesome opportunity, but I'll need your help to get it.

Thanks for all of your continuous support!

BedrockN for 1 more month!

Yaasss! So everyone know's that I'm married. Oh you didn't? Well, let me inform you before I get into the nitty gritty of things. I'm happily tied to Dwayne Carter, better known as Weezy F. Baby.

Now that we're all on the same page -- he's got an extension!! My baby was arrested back in 2007 wit some "things" he wasn't supposed to have. Recently the courts dealt with the case and decided that he would have to go on lock down for a year or so. He was scheduled to go in this month (February), but according to several reports and Mack Maine's twitter, he's been given an extension until March 2nd.

So all the non-rappN wannabe's that were ready to take over my man's spot. Fall back. Ha, let's talk about it.

Here's my baby on Ustream, enjoying what he thought was his last day of freedom.

Single on Valentine's Day? ... No worries.

I've never been one to really celebrate Valentine's Day and as I get older, I notice there a lot of people who don't either. Matter of fact, there are some people that like to call the day Singles Awareness Day. The initials, S.A.D. sum up their emotional feelings of depression and loneliness, lls. But I don't want you to be like them -- Soo.... if you're single and getting bitter as the days get closer to the ...wait what day is it.. oh yeah the 14th ...I've got something for you...
First, here are some things to think about:

1. Please realize that Valentine's Day is a commercial holiday. Its not about the love, the relationships, and the happiness. Its about the chocolate, cards, and flowers. Don't go around judging people on how much they love you based on how many pieces of chocolates you get.  And if you don't have a "valentine" just think about all the money you're saving in this not so good recession!

2. If you're single and don't want to be...get ready for next year. Got your eye on somebody? Holla at 'em. Tweet 'em. Poke 'em. Whatever floats your boat. Start relationship therapy. If you don't have anybody in mind... get on the prowl, lls.

3. If you're single & lovin' it -- DO YOUR THANG! Don't let all these "happy couples," hearts, & cupids change your mind. This "couple-driven culture" is all hype game. Do you boo!

Now, here's somethings to do:

1. Make this day about you. PAMPER YOURSELF! Buy yourself chocolates and a cute card that says, "I love you ... just because." If you ballin' go to an all-day spa, and if you're broke soak in the tub. Head to Toe therapy just for you!

2. If you're valentine-less, Plan early. Make plans with either friends or family (that don't have boo-joints) and go out together. There's love there, too! Make the best of your night and be with people who really love you.

3. Make it a Day of Service! What's a better way to show love and affection than to give back? Visit an orphanage, nursing home, or even a hospital. Pass out flowers and love to those who really need it.

All and all, be positive. Don't walk around sulking about being single -- EMBRACE IT!

3 things to think about ... 3 things to do.

Snow'd in Since Friday ... It's almost Friday again.

So late Wednesday of last week, the DMV got crazy warnings of a snow storm that would leave us with at least 3 feet of snow... Well, we got it.

I've been locked in my house since Friday. My car is completely covered. All you can see are the windshield wipers and that's only because I stuck them up in the air before the snow came!  I have NO shovel which means ... I'm going absolutely NOWHERE. (btw, feel free to rescue me!)
School cancelled not only Friday, but Monday and today (Tuesday), too. There's a warning that we're supposed to get another 10 inches tonight. I don't know how much more of this I can take.

Anyways, a few things have happened this weekend even though the DMV stopped.  The 2010 Grammy's was one of the biggest events of course. If you missed it, you can go to www.grammy.com and there's plenty of pictures, videos, and articles to catch you up. Some of the highlights ... the 3-D dedication to MJ was WACK in my opinion. I don' know about anybody else, but my glasses definitely didn't work for that mess.

Soo.... Taylor Swift wins Album of the Year?  Lls. Are you serious. Ok-- so were the preteen girls of the world voting like hell or did people still have sympathy for her from the 2009 MTV Award's incident with Kanye? Everybody know's that my girl Lady Gaga (who follows me on twitter☺) should've have won that. Her  album, fashion, music videos, and performances are all fierce and put Taylor to shame... I'd actually like a re-calculation of that vote if it's not too much to ask.

It's okay, though. Luckily one of the grammys saved itself and committed suicide owt of Taylor's arms. ha!

And the game that shut Sunday night DOWN... The Superbowl XLIV! Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints, who took the win with a serious fight. Manning and the Colts were big competition as everyone expected them to be, but the Saints held their ground and brought it home. Never underestimate the underdogs, we've always got something under our sleeves. Ha, let's talk about it! Drew Brees held his son up like he was the dag-on trophy.  Lls, very cute moment though, I must admit.

Other than the snow and the wins, there hasn't been too much going on.  It's some slow snow days for the DMV. *sigh*
